Bloomington IL Maternity Photography – It’s always fun photographing an expecting couple, because they are so full of excitement + happiness for their soon to arrive bundle of joy! These first-time parents-to-be were absolutely over the moon excited for the arrival of their son, “Baby J”. And, it was extra special for me to photograph them, because they actually live in Bloomington, IL (roughly 3 hours away). For their maternity session, I chose a quiet, country setting with beautiful tall grass, wildflowers, greenery and a pond. It was quite muggy that morning, but with the forecast we’ve had for the past 2 months (scattered thunderstorms nearly every day), I was just happy it wasn’t raining 🙂

J & Z, THANK YOU so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph you two (er, three!). I had a great time with you, and am so excited for you all! I know you will make excellent parents, and your son will be so blessed to have you!
