Salem IL Newborn Photographer – Meet baby Rylee!! Isn’t she just gorgeous?? I had the pleasure of photographing (almost) two week old Rylee recently, and she was just so sweet! And, she even gave me a HUGE grin! You can imagine how excited we all were, when she started giving us some big smiles. You can always tell when a newborn is going to start smiling, but their smiles can vary greatly. Some babies have big, beautiful grins like Rylee, and others have small smiles (still oh-so-adorable!). For Rylee’s session, I had her mom fill out a form, letting me know what color schemes she liked, so that I could pick out the right blankets/props/backgrounds to complement their style and her nursery. It’s very important to me to work with the parents of my newborn client’s in getting the right style for their individual child’s session. Like with all of my sessions, I really stress the importance of personalization/customization. I work hard to NOT be a one-size-fits-all type of business. Each client deserves a boutique experience and that extra special personal touch.

You two are a fantastic couple, and I’m so honored to have been given the opportunity to photograph your sweet new daughter’s newborn session. Newborn sessions are so important to me, because this is your child’s first professional photography session. Newborn babies change so rapidly, and you want to be able to remember how gorgeous they were shortly after birth. You want to remember how small they were. How their little button nose looked, and how much hair they had (or didn’t have!). I cherish the newborn photos I have of both of my daughters (now aged almost 4 and 2), and I still have them hanging up in their rooms with no plans to take them down any time soon. I have smiling pictures of both of my girls, and I can’t express how much they mean to me.
