Meet Carson | Effingham IL Senior Photographer

Effingham IL Senior Photographer – Meet Miss Carson! She’s a 2016 graduate and current cheerleader of St Anthony High School, and was a DREAM  to work with throughout her session with me! Thankfully, the weather wasn’t too bad (eek! or cold) during her session, so she didn’t completely freeze! Carson has the most gorgeous Rapunzel-like hair!! My 3 year old daughter is obsessed with the movie Tangled, and she would just go nuts over Carson’s hair 🙂

For Carson’s session, we utilized an old shoe factory here in Flora. This place is a photographer’s dream come true! There are so many different colors, textures and looks that we can get just from this one location. Less travel time = more shooting time = more outfits! In the beginning, Carson, like 99% of the seniors I photograph, was unsure about how to pose. I point this out, because this is a concern that almost EVERY senior girl who I’ve photographed has had. It’s completely NORMAL! And, that’s why I work hard to educate myself on all of these techniques. It’s my job to know exactly how to pose each girl with whatever body type she has. I also keep things lighthearted and fun, so we have a comfortable, relaxing environment to work in. By the end of the session, I kid you not, Carson was a natural 🙂
