What’s for dinner? | Julie Pottorff Photography, Flora Illinois
This question always cracks me up, because I always have the same WONDERFUL answer: whatever my husband is making. That’s right, ladies and gentleman, my husband cooks 99% of our meals. I LOVE IT! Now, hold on, I do know how to cook. When we first started dating, he cooked all of our meals. 85% of our meals are cooked on the grill (nice and healthy). He typically eats a steak, glob of butter with a little bit of potato baked potato and a vegetable (green beans, peas, corn, etc.). I typically have chicken or fish/shrimp, a sweet potato and whatever veggie we have to accompany our food. It’s wonderfully delicious and has a bit spoiled when it comes to eating out, which is a big reason of why we don’t. Why pay $50 or more for a meal, when you could have made an even better one at home for 1/3 of the cost?
All of that being said, here’s a few of my favorite recipes 🙂
