Maternity Photography Southern IL – When this mother-to-be contacted me about maternity pictures, I was excited! Pregnancy is such an amazing experience, and I truly believe that you should get photographs of yourself while pregnant, whether they are professional or not. I know how much I would like to see pictures of my own mom while pregnant with me. Furthermore, I was never able to have professional maternity photos of myself taken, due to having complicated pregnancies and long periods of strict bed rest (5 weeks with my first, 14.5 weeks with my second). So, yes, these sessions are very near and dear to my heart.

Does this mom not have the cutest outfit? And, look at that hair! I sure didn’t look that good while pregnant, that’s for sure 😉 She definitely has that gorgeous pregnancy glow, and we were able to get so many good maternity pictures for her and her sweet unborn baby boy, Jace. She even trusted me enough to follow along with my crazy idea of photographing her in cold, mucky water. Thankfully, it was AFTER we were done that we saw the half-eaten, fly + maggot covered dead fish head next to us. Yuck!!!!!! I’m so lucky that she was such a good sport in putting up with me and my crazy ideas 🙂
