Southern IL Family Photographer – Meet Landrey and her beautiful family! These three make up one of the sweetest families I’ve ever worked with! Not only were they a dream to photograph, but the weather we had that evening was absolutely perfect! Family pictures are always so much fun to capture, especially when you’re dealing with a sweet baby like Landrey 🙂 Miss Landrey has the most gorgeous eyes!!! And that smile is WOW! Her mom had a fantastic idea with what props she had in mind for her session, so I brought along my teepee and made a cute little backdrop at our location. We shot their pictures at one of my all time favorite local locations and one that I use pretty often for my outdoor pictures. I’m so thankful that this sweet family chose me for their family photography needs! I’m so blessed to have such wonderful clients here in Southern IL!

Logan | Class of 2018 FHS | Southern IL Senior Photographer
Who says guy’s Senior sessions have to be boring?! I had a BLAST with Logan and his mom during his senior session. It was really important to me to incorporate his unique personality into his photos. Your normal cookie-cutter, smile at the camera kind of portraits were not going to work here. Logan LOVES music and goes to more concerts in a year than I have my entire life. He also plays guitar, and I love incorporating props into sessions! With how fun his session was, it may be my new favorite! I love the edgy, grunge rock look and feel to his photos. It’s just perfectly HIM. That’s my job in photography. My job isn’t just to create nice looking photos, but to create images that make my client’s personality shine. Introducing the cutest member of society – Archer! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing him at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Effingham, IL. One of my favorite aspects of my job is the relationship I have with my clients. I first met Shawna + Charles when they hired me as their wedding photographer 2.5 years ago. Since our initial contact, we have bonded over a beautiful engagement session, a rainy wedding day that ended up blessing them with sunshine + a rainbow, a maternity session that was FREEZING cold and a fresh 48 session. I’ve watched them blossom from a couple excited to be engaged to an exhausted but very happy new set of parents <3 This week, we will be shooting Archer’s newborn pictures, and I couldn’t be happier for them! As a photographer, I feel so blessed to have such an inside look to my client’s growing families. I’m able to share in their joys, and am also able to empathize with their sorrows. Southern IL Family Photographer | I have been blessed to have known this family for years. In fact, I held this not-so-little girl in the hospital, a day or two after she was first born 🙂 We had the most beautiful sunlight for their session in this location (a big reason for why I chose it, of course). The dynamic between these three is fantastic; always joking around and having fun with one another. As you can see, it’s apparent that they all really love each other. I always love it when I have the opportunity to photograph my friends. There’s nothing better than being able to provide them with beautiful photos for their home! And, since they are my friends, if you’re looking for a great gym to join, I highly recommend theirs! It’s Doc’s Gym in Flora, and it’s always clean, has a wide variety of equipment to choose from and is well maintained. Southern IL Senior Photographer | Meet Bailey! She is a member of student council, pep club, fccla, fca, as well as the basketball, tennis and softball teams. Needless to say, she is one very busy girl! Bailey went with the Timeless Senior experience, and she looked absolutely amazing for her session, thanks to Abie Shelton at The Hair Garage. She brought several layered Fall looks with her, and they all looked fabulous! Bailey was so great to work with during her session, and her mom was even gracious enough to hold my reflector for me 🙂 Bailey’s mom was actually my 6th grade teacher, so it was weird to have her doing work for me this time! For the record, I enjoyed having her as my teacher back then and she is still just as wonderful as she was! And, Bailey, thank you so much for choosing to work with me!
