One-on-one Mentoring | Southern IL Family Photographer

Did you recently get a new camera? Maybe you’ve had yours for awhile, but you still aren’t satisfied with the way your images look? Trust me, I’ve been there! It took me a full year of taking bad, out-of-focus photos with my new fancy Canon Rebel t2i camera before I finally decided that enough was enough. I spent all of that money on a DSLR camera – shouldn’t it just automatically take professional grade portraits on its own? Wouldn’t it be nice if IT DID???

When you start out trying to learn how to take better photos with your DSLR, it can be quite overwhelming. There’s so much to learn! Aperture? ISO? Rule of thirds? I’ve read a multitude of books, pored over online forums, purchased thousands of dollars in educational materials from everyone under the sun in an effort to master the art of photography – and I STILL feel like I have a lot to learn 🙂 That can be the most fun and most frustrating part of it all; there’s always something new to learn!

Would you like some one-on-one learning? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a person to talk to and ask questions? I do NOT profess to know everything there is about photography or cameras, BUT, I can offer to help you out in specific areas in which you are struggling with.

2 hour one-on-one mentoring session – $250

Choose any 4 of the above topics listed, and we will spend 2 hours together, working to improve your skills in those areas.

Due to the custom nature of the service, no refunds will be issued. If an unexpected conflict arises, you may reschedule your mentoring session one time, within 30 days of your originally scheduled date.

Who will benefit the most from this? Beginning photographers! This is not for intermediate or advanced photographers. I am here to help you out with the basics and helping you form a solid foundation for strong images.
